In March 2026, PAWA and TINYFEST joined forces to bring artists on an INTERxCHANGE between Ōtautahi and Tāmaki Makaurau through a series of performative experiments called ELECTRIC BODIES.With the provocations of sound as body and body as sound, artists were invited to experiment with the intersections between sound and body as a driving force. When sound was not the outcome, but the instigator of an action, the programme asked: in what ways could sound provoke new patterns of embodiment, attention, or resistance?Powerful, magnetic, dynamic, rousing, voltaic, CHAOTIC, CONSUMING, CALLING YOU.The curated artists came together for two weekends of performances across both cities. Alongside the performances, audiences were invited deeper into the artists’ worlds through hands-on community workshops led by the visiting artists.ELECTRIC BODIES was an invitation to gather, witness, and be ELECTRIFIED.
