





SARAH ELSWORTH is an interdisciplinary movement artist working between Aotearoa and India. Her practice spans experimental performance, site-responsive work, and interdisciplinary collaboration, exploring how movement, sound and environment collide.
Recent projects include TO MOULD (2025) created with Somya Kautia, performed at G5A Warehouse (Mumbai) and at the Movement Festival of Kerala (India). She created GREEN SILENCE(2023) a site-specific work, commissioned by Movement Art Practice for the CCP Choreographic Project. She was awarded the Eileen May Norris Scholarship (2014) and together with Anita Clark/ MOTTE is the recipient of the Creative New Zealand Fellowship (2025) to support their artistic collaboration.Â
Alongside her artistic practice, Sarah works as an educator across professional and community contexts, including with adults with intellectual and learning disabilities. She has worked with Movement Art Practice (NZ), Kalakeli Movement Arts (India), and Many Hats Theatre Company (NZ), developing inclusive, community-led approaches to choreographic and movement practice.
