Interloper was a series of 4 solo performances that speaks to the ongoing tensions and problematics of colonisation and patriarchy. Over the period of the festival, Mark Harvey sparked conversations with spectators in relation to what might otherwise be concealed in political discourses, histories and potentialities about the surrounding context. Interloper incorporates physical endurance and duration into the performative conversation, raising questions about the way selected sites perpetuate ongoing patriarchy and coloniality that span time and space.
