“My performances are a forum, a space in time for interaction with the audience. I hope that in my desperate gestures viewers will find for themselves something meaningful, even transcendent. The artist utilized the surroundings and found objects to shape the work. Principles of risk-taking, diverse expression, site-specificity, and direct interaction with the audience guided the performance.
